Very plastic
2 of 2 found this helpful Arrived quickly. Easy to put together even for me, instructions okay. Doesn't feel robust, plastic casting seems flimsy for such a robust job it has to do. Chain tensioner is tricky to turn with tool supplied, it may be easier with a normal screwdriver. Started easy after making sure I followed instructions. I have cut some small branches about 100mm thick to get used to it. Seems to cut okay so far on small branches. I tried a couple of thicker branches about 150 mm cut okay but I need to gain more confidence.
I believe there is blue one for £40 more, I assume that would be less plasticy and if I saw them would likely pay tge extra money.
I am sort of disappointed its so plasticy, the one at screwfix felt more robust but was less cc, I guess more power is useful on larger logs.
I would likely not buy if I was able to touch and feel it, again, the blue one is more expensive so assume better build.
