Frida Kahlo Makes Herself Up....and UP!!
The Frida Kahlo Exhibition at V&A was wonderful. This Book is the perfect souvenir, crammed full of excellent text and colour images from her amazing life.
It arrived promptly, in mint condition...and cheaper than the one I bought from the Exhibition!!

No Easy Way!

Having endlessly tried to cut down my alcohol intake, this book takes a different perspective on booze, focussing on the reasons why we choose to drink and the myths we have taken on board about the benefits of drinking. Though somewhat repetitive in his use of the main points, the author finally admits that there is actually no easy way to give up! There is enough depth however in his many and varied observations and personal confessions to carry the reader forward. I don't read often but I couldn't wait for each chapter and incidentally have not had a drink since finishing the first few chapters! The book is now winging its way to a friend of mine who says that she would also like to read it! This book has a different approach to better known programmes and as such is less daunting but just as challenging...and all worth it to wake up 'clean'!! Enjoy!
