Very informative
Bought as a reference book for a Victorian terrace (1890’s) which needs some slightly different maintenance techniques compared to a modern build. It lists surprisingly common mistakes which unwittingly damage old properties, and key questions to ask when looking to hire builders etc. Useful!

Brilliant book for someone with a little sewing experience.
This book is fabulous if you're wanting some inspiration and step-by-step instructions on making your own wedding dress (or ball gown).
I would definitely say that you would need some previous sewing experience, especially if you wish to adapt any of the designs - although if you have plenty of time, you should still get there in the end as the book is really well thought out. The designs included are varied from both modern & traditional, and all can be customised. I'm really happy I bought it.
