A rechargeable battery that works as expected.
It performs its intended function.

Not sure about this one...
This probably needs some kind of a pre-amp, as the sound when connected directly to an amp is thin and un-useable. I had asked the seller about the need for a pre-amp or some kind of interface, and they replied that they weren't sure... so they weren't dishonest; they just didn't know. I would say this would probably be a good replacement for a broken piezo bridge that already has an interface that was used with the previous bridge. The price was fine; especially if it sounds good with an interface. This review probably isn't all that helpful other than to suggest that you shouldn't buy it expecting to plug in directly into an amplifier thinking it will sound good. Even heavy equalization won't make it useable.

Works as promised.
I've found another brand, cheaper booster (for $10 less) after I bought this one. But this definitely works, and has the option of getting power from a USB port on the TV, meaning when the TV is switched off the booster also powers down. Maybe this will extend its life expectancy.
I receive a total of 11 channels; 9 without a booster. The signal on two previously un-receivable channels went from non-existent to "good". None of the stations ever go to "strong"; all are "good". With my previous booster which was antenna mounted, all stations were "strong". But I kept losing boosters, and at $70 decided to try something else. This worked to bring in the two lost channels. So I would recommend this unit, unless you're willing to try a cheaper one...
