experimenting with brass saddles to see if it's better than steel.
I wanted to change from steel to brass saddles on my squier stratocaster guitar. I'm experimenting to see if brass sounds better than steel. The latter can be rather piercing. The brass saddles sound 'warmer' than the steel but about the same volume. Not a great difference, granted, but I like the sound of it.
Will stick with it for the time being,
