Stunning keyboard....but that price!
1 of 1 found this helpful So first let me say this is easily the best keyboard I've ever used, and I've typed on a lot. I'm a novelist, so I spend a lot of time writing, not gaming. The Leopold FC600C uses Topre electro-capacitative switches, which can be easily described as typing on bubble-wrap. It feels good. The keycaps are high quality, dye-sublimated with a little bit of texture on top. The legends are a bit hard to see (I got black on black, or nightmare-black as I like to call it) but I knew that when I bought it. It's sturdy, quite heavy, and has no flex. I do wish it was symmetrical, however, like most 60% keyboards. I wanted dedicated arrow keys, so I liked this more than the HHKb. But I would rather have the layout of the Sewino GK64, where it shrinks the right shift key to allow it to be perfectly symmetrical: a rectangle, if you will. The Leopold has dead space on the right side, which sort of of bothers me. All this is trifles, however, and the the fact is that it is a great keyboard.
But is it worth the price? I paid $267 dollars for this, including shipping, and got it in less than a week. But, honestly, I could have bought an Anne Pro for 1/4 the price and had RGB lighting (which this does not have) and also had the ability to get cool custom keycaps for it. There are virtually NO keycaps sets for the Leopold. The Realforces and HHKbs can all have kick-ass keycaps for it; for some reason, the Leopold does not have any third-party manufacturers putting out cool keycap sets for it. You cannot customize it. So, in essence, this is a phenomenal keyboard. It will last me the rest of my life. But I truly believe that it is overpriced. This thing should cost $175 MAX.

Takes some getting used to, but easily the greatest keyboard ever made.
2 of 2 found this helpful To be fair, I got the black on black version, which looks slightly different from this one. They are still the same keyboards. When I first got it, the keys took some getting used to; they were a little hard to press than 45g at first. But I flipped the spacebar and took out the spring and everything is great. The Leopold is the best out of all Topre keyboards. It's the heaviest, the sleekest, and sturdiest. It's rubber feet are SUPER grippy too. They keycaps themselves are slightly textured and feel amazing. It's just one of those things you have to feel.
Now I just wish there was one with RGB lighting.

Good, but reuses some stories...
I'm just beginning now to realize that, like Hunter S. Thompson, Henry Miller's writings are oft repeated. A lot of these stories and essays appear in other books: World of Sex, Max & the White Phagocytes, Black Spring, etc. It's still good, and if you've never read Henry Miller, this is good as any place to start.
