Great physical design and good sound quality but......
Really difficult to use so it's a real shame that the firmware (whcih may improve in future) is just not very easy to use.
Does not retain position in last track played (I listen to a lot of long radio podcasts and if you plug in to charge or change bluetooth settings, in fact pretty much anything, goes back to the start of the track and finding your place is a bit tedious).
There is no track catatloging and doesn't seem to allow the use of playlists....so even if you put things in different folders they come out in one big list so far as I can see. Some built in cataologing would be nice but actually playlist functionality would be fine by me.
Bluetooth is a struggle and v difficult to swap devices thought to be fair once connected to a pair of bluetooth headphones sound quality is very good
The logic of button presses is a bit odd there is a play button and a menu button but often the flow is difficult to remember and pressing them in the wrong order can be very unproductive (disconnecting/deleting device going back to the beginning of a track). I would expect it to be play to play/select/drill down menu to go back ff to move "right/down" a list, rewind to go up/left in a list. But again I may just have missed the logic.
As I said I listen to a lot of long tracks - the fastforward/rewind function is a single speed and it would be much nicer if it accelerated the longer you held the button down.
All that said the build quality is impressive for such an inexpensive device and the sound quality is good (I am not too demanding to be fair).
If you want a cheap easy to use but unsophisticated bluetooth mp3 player you could do worse.

Needs a car battery
I can't recommend this ...for what I wanted it for. because I am using a low current 12 v supplly (aaa battery pack) the led sinks to much corrent and therefore I cannot have a 12v output witht he led working it appears...though given it's designed role in a car dashboard I doubt this would be a problem
