Good and fast, feels robust and well made but screen is awful
1 of 1 found this helpful Good fast all rounder for general use. The keyboard is large and well laid out and the mouse pad is not bad. The system will handle everyday tasks with no problems. HD video will stream smoothly and cleanly and the laptop will multitask without any interruption in other services. The Sound on headphones is very good and is enhanced with SRS sound. There is a USB3 and a couple of USB2 connections for good connectivity with both VGA and HDMI ports for connection to a monitor or TV.
The downside of this laptop is the screen which is glossy so it reflects everything and the viewing angle and contrast ratio is dreadful. watching video results in blacks being grey near the bottom of the screen and almost negative at the top or moving the screen slightly gives a totally pale image or negative one. The screen is ok for general computing but I would recommend a monitor is used for video.

Excellent Rechargeable Batteries
I have been using Palocell batteries for several years now and have consistently found them to be among some of the best rechargeable batteries I have used, They have a good long life and hold their charge for several weeks when in storage so remain ready for use when needed. I have used them without any problems in various items including DAB radios. LED torches, cameras, work lights etc,
The only minor negative with these is they are very sightly fatter than some batteries which can make them a tight fit in some equipment though I haven't found any item they cannot fit into.
