Informative, but doesn't blind you with science!
This is a very informative book, easy to understand and beautifully illustrated. It will definitely be of use to anyone from beginner upwards and gives the information you need to take better pictures. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Digital SLR photography or is thinking of getting a DSLR.

Great simple to use phone with long battery life.
I bought one of these for my elderly mother because she kept accidentally ringing numbers with her old phone because she couldn't lock the keypad. No problem with this one as the clamshell design makes it impossible for her to do that. She loves its design, ease of use and long battery life. I would recommend it for anyone who wants a simple, easy to use telephone.

Deas exactly what it says on the cover!
The book is excellent, well written and broken down into lessons that gradually show the full potential of Lightroom 3. The book is easily understood, and covers all aspects of Lightroom with explanations with copious sidenotes and tips, and you also get a disc which you use in conjunction with the book, to practice the technique learned in each lesson. It would be useful for someone who has no experience of Lightroom, but is also a useful item for jogging the memory when using familiar techniques. Clear print and lost of illustrations make this book user friendly, although some might find the font size a little small. It lies reasonably flat when opened, but my reason for giving it 4 stars is purely because it would be even more practical if it was spiral bound - but that is just a samll niggle.
