Works as expected for my 09 Genesis
I was hesitant to make an online purchase for a device that had the possibilities of not working. I'm huge on researching information before making a purchase and multiple forums indicated that they were unsuccessful in programming their smart key they purchased online and were now out the programming fee which ranged anywhere from 40-80 dollars. I think my success came into play was because I went into the dealer first to get quotes. They provided me with a dealer cost as well as an item number. Using the item number is what I did online and I felt my chances were better. After taking the key to the dealer they reported back 45 minutes later that all was taken care of. I now have a smart key for about 150.00 (programmed smart key & trunk key vs 450.00 for the same at a dealer.
I'm happy!!!
