Maybe I should have read more closely the word Soul in the title.
I should have read more closely the word Soul in the title. And I do like soul. But these were very insipid songs. They lacked passion. I saw Mick and his band in the Manchester Arena and they was brilliant. The old rocker Rod Stewart is knocking out albums of classic tracks from other artists and I like them. Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery so maybe Mick should do similar in his classic Manchester brogue. My town!! If that's beneath him maybe he should go back to his roots and give us more of those thumping great hits he once had ..
