Quick Fix Redi Shade Adhesive White Fabric Window Shade Blind Curtain 36" x 72"

Simple,but efficient and inexpensive

I have an aluminum (non-magnetic) glass door from my office directly to the outside. There are only two ways to cover it: this curtain and film attached to the glass (blinds won't work). Film is more complicated to install: I am afraid that I put it in a wrong way. Moreover, films are more expensive. I believe this is was optimal solution for my problem.

good for that low price

I've bought these as second speakers for listening the music outdoors during BBQs, and they are good for that. But they are noticably worse than my other Creative 2.1 system which I've bought 5 years ago for approx. 170 CHF (=150$). In particular, the maximal volume is quite low. I don't recommend to buy them as your main speakers if you like classic music.

great for linux

I use it with debian linux (stretch). Installed it using a usb-key; see linux notes on my website (see chalaev dot com) Do not forget to install tlp as it should increase your battery life time. All hardware works out of the box. For wifi installed firmware-iwlwifi from the standard debian repository. Fingerprint scanner works too. I use lightweight icewm together with wifi-switcher (see my site) as a wifi manager. And I use ecryptfs so that in case the laptop is lost/stolen, other people can not access my files.
