Poor design,edges too shallow, doesn't keep the food inside the ring

The feeding pellets are put inside the three compartments, however as soon as the fish come to it to eat, the pellets are easily pushed over the edges by the eager fish eating from below. The plastic sides are no way high enough to retain the floating fish food. The design seems to be poor,
