This sieve is big and beautiful...

Having read other people's reviews, I drilled some holes and wired the coarser griddle to the plastic frame before I started using it. It has performed without fault and, if I need to use the finer griddle, I will simply lay it on top of the fixed coarser griddle. The sieve is larger and deeper than the conventional circular sieves which makes it particularly useful if you have a larger quantity of stuff which needs to be sieved. If you are willing and able to shake the sieve quite hard, then I have found that the sieve can handle 2 or 3 spadefuls at a time but that will vary according to the size of your spade and the nature of whatever you are trying to sieve. The harder you shake the sieve from side to side, the bigger you will need to make the receptacle into which the sieved product is delivered. I can see no reason not to buy this sieve in preference to the smaller, shallower sieves which are also available.

Definitely not for heavy use

This is a fun little shredder which will shred one A4 sheet at a time (unless the paper is very lightweight). It's quite tricky to hold it all together while winding the handle, so I've taped the working part across the top of a swing bin and dispensed with the rather small container which came with the product.
