256GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive Disk Memory Pen Stick Thumb Storage Swivel Metal Blue

SCAM: Fake thumb drive. Your data goes in, but never comes out.
It's a fake USB drive ("Thumbo drive"). Fake USB drives are very common, and HAVE NO BENEFIT. This one is sold as 256GB, and reports 256GB, but only contains 16GB of flash RAM. Windows (or Linux, Mac, etc.) thinks it has 256GB, so Windows lets you save files to it -- but once you have saved 16GB of data, the rest is silently dropped (the drive is hacked to not report any errors). When you go to retrieve the files, you can access files that were among the first 16GB stored, but nothing after that. Worse, many people think these drives just "went bad." No. These drives were created with one sole purpose: to trick you into thinking you got a good drive long enough for them to get away with it. If you get a fake USB drive, you need to get a refund and leave negative feedback for the seller. If you don't, the sellers will just keep the scam going. Remember, these drives have NO BENEFIT (except to the people that made them, and the seller). What can you do with a drive that doesn't save data?
