appealing, well written and illustrated book about mystery, friendship and adventure for 7 - 12 year olds
First impressions are of a short, well illustrated book with a sensible font size for younger children - an invitation for a 7+ age child to pick up and read. The descriptive text and complexity of the storyline are not too advanced for younger readers but sufficiently interesting for the older child perhaps even to young teenagers who need encouragement to read. The subjects touched upon are topical and ones children will be familiar with without being emphasised too much. An adventure filled with mystery and intrigue that children will love.
