No-amp amplifier.
1 of 1 found this helpful Can't tell if it amplifies at-all. Tried listening briefly both with and without the device. Could not tell if it was amplifying at all. Wanted to use it in my truck without having to crank everything up to max, but it's no use. Disappointing.

Works great, no fuss no muss on Ubuntu 18.04.

Good Sound, Poor Usability
1 of 1 found this helpful When the USB cable is connected to a PC, it does not mount as a thumb drive. Therefore, to access the recording files I have to unplug the unit and remove the batteries before removing the Mem card. (A power switch would be very useful in this case!) Then, when I reinstall the Mem card, reinstall the batteries, and plug the unit back into power, I have to reset the system clock, etc. It would have been great if the Mfg actually tested the unit with real customers before releasing the product. The only good feature about this product is the good sound quality, otherwise everything is very disappointing.
