Not worth the money
The quality of the photographs is dreadful - like someone photocopying papers on an outdated printer. The story is not concise, the points are poorly made and there is no summary. I was very disappointed in this book.

Excellent book
This is a particularly interesting and well written account of what happened. Heartbreaking for the families involved no doubt.

Classic and rightly so
It’s a long haul to be sure but it’s worth it. A peek into southern history at its best and worst.
