On meeting Damian Lewis
I bought this after meeting DL in Manchester b/c I'd only seen odd episodes when it was transmitted on TV. DL was really sweet made a real fuss of me, was not at all starry - what a top actor and thoroughly pleasant human being! To say you enjoy it is to belittle this excellent piece of cinema/ tv, the fact its based on real people makes it all the more poignant. I have used this for teaching purposes, both history, english and sociology, in my view everyone should have opportunity to watch this.
