A low cost basic gaussmeter
I'm giving the WT10A 5 stars because it provides the basic gaussmeter functions at a much lower cost than most similar products.
it works well for basic checks on guitar pickups, which is what I bought it for. It measures static magnetic fields, is supplied in a case, has a low profile probe on a 1 metre cable, a zero adjust to cancel ambient field and a hold button to freeze the reading. There is a mini USB jack on the side of the case, but I have no idea if this can be used for data collection. The provided instructions are very elementary. Something to bear in mind is that the magnetic field around most small magnets varies a great deal, so obtaining clear, stable readings is not easy. This gaussmeter has no averaging or peak reading capability and so will only display these fluctuations. This is not a fault of the meter itself, but simply the nature of the field around small magnets.

Loops did not work for me
I had a client bring in two Roland Space Echoes for servicing. I bought a batch of 3 RT-1L loops from MTE and they did not work for me, they slipped and the echo repeat rate simply was not stable. I also suspect they are of too modern a tape formulation as they seemed to fall outside the range of the bias pot. To be absolutely fair the problems I had could have been due to the old pinch roller and felt pads, although I did clean the roller and pads with isopropyl alcohol.
Eventually bought a full service kit of replacement rollers, pads and tape from an Australian company and both Space echoes are now working perfectly, just not with MTE tape.

OK as a cheap Windows 10 PC
I ordered this PC because I needed at least one PC running Microsoft Windows 10 (I mainly run Ubuntu Linux). At the time I ordered it, it seemed like a very good deal. It certainly works OK (my previous experience of the recent versions of Windows on older PCs was that it ran too slowly to be usable). All the components of are of reasonable quality. I did of course have to add a keyboard, mouse and a display to build a complete system.
Careful analysis reveals how Crocodile Computers are able to sell at this price - the Intel Core i3 CPU became an end-of-life component in 2013 and the the DQ67SW Intel Desktop motherboard (which has integrated graphics, saving the cost of a separate graphics card) has passed the - End of Interactive Support. So these are essentially obsolete components.
