Compared to iPad, both have issues, unless you are into Apple, buy this
3 of 3 found this helpful Everything about it as a product is better than the iPad, better display, stereo etc. However after experience with both there are cons:
iPad have the marketing sussed so if you go into any high street store you will hundreds of docking units, cases, media systems all designed for iPad and for the Galaxy Tab, you are forced to use eBay!
Both the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the iPad have a stupid infuriating charging system where you cannot charge them AND use them. If you purchase a 2 amp charger which can, when the Tabs are fully charged they cook the batteries!
If you want to watch movies, you have to buy the Samsung 10.1, its truly brilliant and has surprisingly good sound, however, mp4s can be complicated. If you want to use Skype on either device, do plenty of research first and expect to be frustrated!

Windows 10 needs this!!!!
If you own one of the older Intel Atom based netbooks with 1GB RAM such as the popular Samsung N145, you will have noticed that Windows 10 has virtually stopped working and your netbook is more or less dustbin fodder. Taking out the old 1GB module and replacing it with this 2GB module will give it an entire new lease of life and everything will work again, just like the good old Windows 7 days.

Genuine product but you might need an extra step in activation
My PC was destroyed by lightning so I built a new PC but forgot about the windows 10 license and it was gone forever! doh! Brought this and it works brilliantly, upgrades and does the same as normal windows. Activation required a call to microsoft so it wasn't seamless but they activated it for me no problem.
