The Science behind the System
I actually did an infomercial for the guys who created the original Deep Penetrating Light. I honestly told them "Rejuvenating Light" sounds better, but I did a ton of research in making the commercial. This thing works!!!
And it is the ONLY FDA approved light on the market today. Buy whatever you want, but DPL is the brand that I trust. The technology actually comes from NASA when they found out wounds don't heal as well (or at all) in space. Why?
Becuase there is no UV light, so NASA spent way too much money to find the frequencies that DO HEAL and increase circulation. DPL uses that science in this product.
I actually like the first model slightly better because it lasted 18 minutes and this one is about 3 min. Honestly, I used to snag a quick little nap with the old one. With this newer version, I have to go right back to work. Ha!

Cars (2006 DVD)
The definitive boys' animated feature about what else... CARS!
Okay, so it is the same story from Michael J. Fox's 1991 film "Doc Hollywood", but it doesn't matter. Pixar is king and this film is no exception.
Excellent animation, great characters, and funny situations make this a home run with little guys. They even have the toy line still available in most stores to support the film. It has action, comedy (for the adults too), and a love story.
It does run a tad long in spots, but it's entertaining for the rest of the family none-the-less. There are a few sexual references (adoring twin girl car fans reveal their "headlights" and even Sally has a "tramp stamp" tattoo) but there is nothing offense and only a hillbilly hell swear word that didn't even earn the film a PG... It is still Rated "G" and plenty clean for even the most concerned parents.
The amazing thing about this film is that it isn’t nearly as annoying as most other kid films. Even after the tenth time having it in the background of a living room, it didn’t bother me. In fact, I wanted to see some of the parts I regularly missed.
It’s a home run and you can’t go wrong with anything Pixar does except for “Wally” which was nearly unbearable for my two kids and for me and the misses. “The Incredibles” is still my personal favorite, but it is fairly violent.
Don’t forget the popcorn and God bless!
