The World Tom Tom
Great bit of kit - it stops the 'nagavator' talking and leaves me to listen to a selection of attractive blonds or are they brunettes today?
Plenty of maps - I'm looking forward to using it on Guam - although the previous careful owner had not updated them so about £40 later that was done.
Like all satnavs you need to be aware of the thing taking down strange alleyways but overall a great help.
I bought it to use in the USA as I visit regularly so I hope and trust that it will be good enough for that challenge. I'm off to Spain soon so that will test the European maps - I'm taking maps jusi in case!
It is a bit heavy for its mounting gismo so tends to droop - I know how it feels! I now just position it to droop a little on to the fascia. I've found that while it warns that a heat reflecting widscreen can stop the signal this one is not at all bothered indeed will operate in a house albeit close to a window.
So go ahead and buy!

Works well.
I have bought many edgers over the years and all have failed. This one so far seems to overcome the inherent weakness of the joint between blade and socket so it is looking better than I had hoped and justified the extra cost.
