Much-complimented new fragrance
Modern Muse le Rouge is a relative newcomer to established cosmetic and fragrance lines. Committing to a new fragrance is not easy. I have happy relied on my old favorite, Poeme by Lancôme, for years. But I tried the tiny samples of Estée Lauder's Muse/Rouge that came in seasonal gifts. It was very light and hard to descrbe, not exactly floral or fruit, not musky. I thought itight be too light to be detectable. But then I received compliments, again and again. It didn't broadcast itself, but when colleagues leaned close or friends hugged me, they consistently remarked, "Oh, you smell good" and " Is that a new fragrance? It's really nice." I find it's perfect for warmer days or indoor activity, when you want to gently "accessorize with fragrance." I'm very happy with it. It complements my Poeme which works for other times and places. Modern Muse le Rouge is the silk scarf of fragrances. Treat yourself to it.

Classic fragrance, elegant & unforgettable
5 of 5 found this helpful I’ve loved Coco since I first experience d at a Chanel store on a trip to
a big city. I was surprised that something so appealing and attractive could also seem modern and cosmopolitan. It defies description. It’s not floral, or fruity, or woodsy ... but it’s natural. It’s not full of rose or sandalwood or ambergris, but it’s familiar as any grand fragrance. Best of all, it is lasting as a shadow but not overwhelming. I’ve noticed it is distinctive as the individual wearing it. Coco really works with body chemistry to make it an attribute, like a smile. See if it’s for you too.

Character-driven survival ckassuc
1 of 1 found this helpful This classic film, remade but impossible to update or improve, assembles a superb cast in a unique survival drama. A plane downed in the desert strands an odd collection of men (yes, all men) who must struggle to hope for an impossible chance of rescue. The plot turns on brains as well as endurance, with a stunning twist to challenge their and our belief. Resist spoilers, transport your mind to a lower-tech era, and let the characters (and amazing portrayals) carry you into their crisis. This classic film was a family favorite for decades. In older days with no videos, few TV channels, and pre-set weekly schedules, we’d suddenly discover this gem in the TV listings! At that point, even the teenagers in the household would cancel plans in order to watch the movie with my parents. James Stewart has never been more natural and convincing, and this is Hardy Kruger’s star turn. A terrific movie. I envy those who will be able to see it for the first (but not last) time. Enjoy!
