Fake batteries?
Pack of two but only one worked. May have been fake. Beware cheap batteries.

Disappointed
The pump will only work in full sun or on battery power, which isn't long. It is much smaller than expected and only suitable for small features. I ended up wiring it permanently to a power supply. Filter soon gets clogged in a pond.

Decent components for the price
Works well from top floor of a three story house to bottom floor and through brick wall.
Remote feels cheap but then it was, so actually good value.
