  The bowed psaltery was shipped very well, behind multiple layers of cardboard and packing foam. The item actually came in better condition than what was described. No broken strings, no chipping, and no staining whatsoever. There wasn't even the hint of caked on rosin. Its as if the intrument is brand new. The seller threw in some documents thay were super helpful in giving context to this rare and unique instrument
