Good remote, good value
The product itself is straightforward and reliable. The lower price because it was an open box item was very welcome - the product was in perfect condition.

Very reliable
When locked up it is very solid and able to support more weight than you might first expect. I would definitely trust it to support a heavy expensive camera. As a bonus, when loosened it does not go floppy, it still retains enough of a drag to hold it's position while getting it oriented.

Perfectly good condition on this used part, and a fair price
1 of 1 found this helpful No problems whatsoever on this used i7-2600. The physical condition was excellent for a "take-out". Everything fired right up with zero drama on the first power-up and ever since. I especially appreciated the tube of thermal goop which flows nicely and delivers that nice microscopically thin layer that you want. The installation went flawlessly.
This chip runs PhotoShop tasks about 10% faster than the i5-2500K I took out. That is in line with the published benchmarks. However the currently available chips are now about 100% faster! With that in mind, I'm glad that this old i7 cost just a little over $100. Of course a completely current system would really zoom compared to my now slightly refreshed 6 year old PC, but then I would have to be spending a total of $1.0K instead of only $0.1K.
