Very disappointed with awning due to very bad water leaks

The awning has leaked along the length where it connects to the caravan awning rail, not a drip but, major leak, on heavy rain, we are still on holiday at the moment until Tuesday, awning has been up for 7days with no improvement. The supplier says it will get better with weathering, which I doubt very much, very disappointed for an expensive awning.
