OMG I'm in love with this cherry pitter!!!!!!

I was making Cherry Raspberry jam and was confronted by 3 lbs. of sour cherries that needed pitting. My neighbor said "get a big straw," someone else said "gee, guess you'll have to dig them out." And then I found this 6-cherry pitter!! I bought it because one cherry at a time would take me most of the afternoon. OMG!! I went through 1.5 lbs. of cherries in 15 minutes with no pits!!!! After you push down the top, you have to check the tray. If there are less than 6 pits in the tray, look under the cherry holder and apply a knife to the underside to drop any remaining pits into the lower tray. I went through those cherries like a dose of salts and plan on doing another 1.5 lbs. tomorrow. Buy this unit. It will save you a lot of time!
