2018 3D Printer Prusa i3 Reprap + MK8 Extruder, MK3 Heatbed, LCD Controller

For £94 it's pretty good
The quality is good enough. I have only used PLA so far which works pretty well and there are no missed steps or hardware related issues that I can see. Problems: There is no watchdog timer enabled on this firmware - this is a massive fire risk I managed to crash the stock firmware by starting about 6 prints of the same calibration piece one after the other. The extruder got stuck on and reach about 400 degrees before I realised and switched it off. I would recommend powering off and back on before starting each print to help mitigate this. So far it hasn't crashed during a print although I haven't run for more than a few hours at a time. The firmware isn't great but I am using it without that many issues. The menu system on the display is a bit annoying to navigate around and the buttons seem to do inconsistent things. For example pressing the middle one might select the item or go back to the previous screen seemingly randomly not sure what the cause of that is but you can still do everything after a few attempts. The small wire from one of the micro switches broke internally somewhere so had to re-crimp the connector on a new wire. The instructions are pretty terrible - not many pictures and basically unreadable english. Overall definitely worth it for under £100 but I wouldn't leave it unattended in case it caught fire.
