Shining 3D Ein Scan-SE Elite Desktop 3D Scanner

Great scanner for modest size parts

Had slight problem with shipping but I am VERY happy with the scanner as well as the vendor's quick response to solve the shipment issue. I had a little difficulty installing the scanner but it was me note reading EVERYTHING on the computer screen. I watched a couple Youtube videos and spotted what I had done wrong. Then I had great fun scanning the car part I need to print with a 3d printer. New large printer is on it's way and should arrive this week. The Einscan scanner is limited in what size objects it will scan in auto mode, but does a really good job splicing together multiple scans to create a good solid 3d image. I had own scan were the item shify slightly and that caused a thin wall which I will fix on the next attempt. I.E. don't let you target item move during the scans! the postprocessing work very good at cleaning up artifacts (like editing out a support to hold the item in a new pose). All in all, I am VERY VERY pleased with this unit.
