Very Entertaining Western
The movie was a very enjoyable one. Jan Merlin, who usually plays villains, played a good guy in this one. Unfortunately, his character got killed while protecting Audie Murphy. It was also fun seeing DeForrest Kelly in a pre-STAR TREK role as the outlaw leader.

Thoughts on the Jim Bowie DVD Collection
2 of 2 found this helpful As a youngster, I really enjoyed the series, and it was wonderful seeing it again. My one disappointment is that it contained ONLY the episodes, and no bonus features. Is Scott Forbes still alive? If so, it might have been very interesting to have included an interview with him, sharing memories of the series, and why it might or might not have been special to him.
