Save your wine labels
I bought this wine journal as a gift for my brother. Every year the family heads to Napa for several days of tasting. My brother is the official scribe and notes which wineries we visited. This journal steps it up a notch where he can actually save the labels of the wine we shared. It is a nice looking journal with just enough room to jot a few comments about the wine. The only thing I wish it didn't have was the dividers for reds, whites etc. That could have been left out. Anyway, it'll be easy enough to ignore the category and save the labels. The journal is big enough to adhere the standard label to a page. The larger labels can be stuck on sideways. All and all this journal is a good buy and a nice gift for folks into wine.

Disappointing
I like this author and have read every one of his books. This novel however is one to skip. What happened? The writing style, content, continuity is completely different than his previous works. I struggled to even finish the book. Spend your money on Lost Nation.

A terrific book
Right from the get go this book is a wonderful read. The added voice of "Chance" brings the story so much depth. For those of us who believe dogs are not our whole life, but make our life whole will enjoy this beautifully writen book. Susan Wilson's writing is clear and heart wrenching at times. What better way to tell the story of a man and his soul mate who've both been given a second chance.
