Excellent book set in the second world war.

This was my first book by this author and it was very enjoyable. She captured the spirit and tragedy of WW2 very accurately and I will certainly be reading her other books!

stan getz plays jobim - the girl from ipanema

I have loved these recordings for so many years. Being able to obtain them on CD was a big bonus. "The girl from Ipanema" is a classic song which will always remain fresh for me. The tenor sax of Getz is a joy to listen to.
