Battery poorly made and not the same dimensions as a genuine original.
Sadly, this must be a cheap reproduction of a genuine LR41 battery. I needed itas back-up for a thermometer, rather important at this time. When I came to fit it, the thermometer would not work. Only when I applied finger pressure to the battery housing did the temperature reading display. On close inspection I found that the new batter was very slightly smaller in size, so did not make a snug fit inside the contacts. When I put the original batter back in, the reading displayed.
