Works as it should (while the power is on1)
The unit looks kind of cheap but it seems to work well. One thing to be aware of tho is that it has no built in backup battery - a fact that I hope has been made clearer in the advertisement. This is fine but if it has to be available 100% of the time like an old style fixed line telephone (even during a power failure) it needs some sort of battery back up.
To facilitate this I am experimenting with using a powerbank as a backup installing it in-line with the unit, so far it has been working well. Interestingly the terminal can operate on between 5v and 12v DC, which is why the powerbank seems to be a success.
