Running on empty: Impressions of Life on the Road

I grow up in the 70's, and this album made a deep impression on me at the time. Quote from Wikipedia: "Browne's 1977 album Running on Empty (...) is his signature work; it rose to number 3 on the album chart and remained there for over a year. Both live and a concept album, it explores in its songs the themes of life as a touring musician, and the album was recorded both on stage and in places touring musicians spend time when not playing, such as hotel rooms, backstage, and in one case on a moving tour bus. The album produced two Top 40 singles, "Running on Empty" and "The Load-Out/Stay", and many of the other tracks became popular radio hits on the AOR format." Couldn't have put it more succinctly myself (hence the quote), and having a remastered version takes me back to the 70's every time!

Brilliant piece of kit!

On my notebooks I often would run short of one or two USB-ports. This often resulted in annoying swapping cables in and out. This little piece of kit deals with that quite nicely! This works very well and is good value for money. At first I wasn't sure how to insert the drive: whether normal, or upside down. But as the USB-connector is placed asymmetrically, it will sort itself out..... Cable included, no screws needed: Recommended buy!
