Bedknobs and Broomsticks

Fascinating!

Excellent DVD series. The Tudors is mostly accurate historically which makes it all the more fascinating. Obviously Jonathon Reys Meyers is far more glamourous that the original Henry the 8th as he retains his good looks until the end. It makes for great viewing the Anne Boelyn story being the longest and the most fascinating. Bloody and cruel as you would expect for the times, and full of political intrigue but the costumes are exceptional and worth watching for that alone. An excellent mix of great actors and actresses who put their all into this production. It shows what a dangerous time it was and how precarious life was for those at court.

Excellent in everyway,Johnny Dankworth at his best!

Love all of the tracks, every one has something unique to offer the listener, some tracks relaxing and smooth,others make you want to get up and dance around the room, great to hear the lovely Cleo Lane on some of the tracks too! Some old favourites as well ,great if you are new to jazz, or a devout Johnny Dankworth fan. Mmmn nice!
