Good story waiting for the summer vacation.
Cannot review the content as it has not yet been read. However, item was well presented and looked like "new".

The first in a phychological thriller series by Jacqueline Winspear
Having been a keen reader of Frances Fyfield novels which are also thought-provoking, I was keen to obtain this first title in a new series. It is proving to be very engrossing and Maisie Dobbs, the main character, is likeable and believable in the time period in which the novel is set.
This slant on the aftermath of the First World War is very topical at the moment and I look forward to the next one in the series, whatever that may be about.

Subtitled 'A Continuing Story' it could only be part of a collection.
Bought the book as I collect postcards depicting Abbeys.
There were only 17 abbeys in this particular book which was so small as to be totally insignificant.
No details were available to ascertain whether English Heritage had covered the rest of the country's abbeys.
Standing alone it was totally useless.
