Okay for a cover up - not much good as a shield
Had expected these to cover the whole ring and rest on the surround of it. They don't - just lay on the flat of the burner. (Maybe my standard size electric hob is not standard everywhere?)
Because they rest on the burner itself they shift about more than anticipated when you brush against them while cooking on the other burners.
These covers make the stove look nicer than having to see the burners themselves, with the inevitable marks on display, so cosmetically an improvement.
Don't see how they can keep burners clean though, as you cannot put the cover on a hot burner (natch!) so any spray or splatter from other parts of the stove WILL mark the uncovered hot burner as you are continuing to cook or dish up. So, okay for a cover up - not much good as a shield.

Don't buy this deadly item!
Plugged this adapter into the socket on the dashboard, plugged in my sat nav and my charger. So only two items connected.
Within a minute there was a smell of scorching, in less than two minutes the cable of the 3 way adapter was almost too hot to touch and the plug itself was smoking in the socket.
If I had been driving I'd have been unable to disconnect the adapter in time to avoid a fire in my vehicle. The wiring of this item is of such seriously poor quality that it could lead to tragedy in other circumstances. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!
