Accurate and Versatile Thermostat/Timeclock. Programing Challenging!! Buy it Anyway!
I was delighted to come across these thermostats. The ability to accurately control the temperature in a room with electric heating and a plug in device is something I have wanted to do for some time. The controls fitted to many heaters are crude and being in the heater itself are often quite inaccurate.
On opening the box these feel and look like a good quality product. The thermostat has a seven day timer and each day is split down into 24, one hour segments. Each segment can be set to Comfort or Economy (usually in blocks). These settings are saved in a daily program. You can only select one program per day but different days can share a program. There are 15 program slots. 7 preset and the rest are user defined
The temperature for either Comfort or Economy can be set to any temperature, however that temperature setting cannot be varied across the programs. If you choose 21c as your comfort setting then whenever your program calls for comfort it will be 21c. Likewise the economy setting. There is no OFF setting which threw me at first. You just have to decide what the lowest temperature you want is and use that for your Economy setting. As long as the temperature remains above this it will be off.
I have found them to be accurate; keeping a room to within a couple of degrees. The accuracy is really determined by where the thermostat is sited as a room will not heat or cool evenly.
Downside? The programming interface is possibly one of the most opaque I've encountered. There is a little instruction manual but individual sections are not 'joined up' and the overall method is not made clear. At one point I nearly gave up but having bought three I persevered for a considerable time and suddenly there was a Eureka moment and the method suddenly clicked with me. ( I also have a Hive system which is a doddle compared to this!)
Overall a really useful and unique device at a good price. Just don't expect to program them in an instant!

So far - so good!
This battery came in at half the price of comparable UK sourced or refurbished batteries thus making it affordable rather than ludicrously overpriced!! It says it has Samsung cells in it but there is no way of checking.
All I can say is that it charges in the same time as the original and the range is the same or better. I use my bike three days a week and charge the battery every night on the days it's used. My original battery was tired and when faced with an incline or hill would show a marked drop on the handlebar 'power reserve indicator'
The new battery has cured this and delivers 100% all the time. The casing and build quality look as good as the original and it fits perfectly. It comes with it's own dedicated charger.
I did notice when looking in the back of the new battery that it only has two terminals whereas the old one had four which did cause me concern but there seems to be no practical difference.
So after two weeks use I can say that I'm pleased and so far, so good.

Good quality screen protectors.
Good quality screen protectors. The surface is hard so they don't scratch easily like some cheaper protectors. They fit well and do the job.
