A very nice on rails FPS shooter.
RAMBO the video game will appeal to anyone who likes on rails shooters , The ORS genre has been sadly forgotten by most developers. RAMBO the video game is a welcome addition to my collection of classic ORS, I won't say the GFX are awesome but please remember this title was released primarily for the last gen consoles. To have such a nice game on PC brings back some fond memories of this once very popular game type. GFX are still pretty decent , gameplay is fluid and challenging.
This game deserved more praise than it got at the time of launch, mostly due to the fact the younger generation of CoD type gamers expected something similar.. However Rambo offers something a bit different from the mainstream and credit goes to the developer for keeping to the storyline of the Films.
The game is as good as any ORS I have played in recent years and has many redeeming qualities, I'm running the game on max settings without any issues and honestly having a blast.
Overall a really fun game to play
8.6/10.

Easy setup a Stylish Monitor overall very good for the price Β£150 approx
1 of 1 found this helpful This review is for an Acer G245HQ not the above mentioned 3D Version GD245HQbid which is the Big Brother of the monitor reviewed here, The Acer G245HQ, even on Acers own website there is some confusion with the 3D family of Displays. having said that the monitor is of the same styling and is very pleasing to the eye with the only apparent difference being the stand which is a Metalic black stand, unlike the 3D version which is Orange in color, the G245HQ runs only at standard frequency of 60hz so it is not suitable for 3D on its own. Comparing the features to the 3D version which is around twice the price they are very similar, setting the monitor up to your own preferences is pretty easy , however I did not find the color functions on this monitor to be as extensive as I would have liked. The Color vibrance is in my opinion slightly washed out looking and certainly not as Vibrant as its big brother the GD245HQbid, which has by far a superior range of colors on screen, having said that the picture quality is very bright and crisp, set up 2 of these monitors side by side and a GD245HQbid in the middle using nvidia surround system I was able to achieve 120hz(In Game) with resolutions of 5760x1080, so in theory at least this would be capable of running in 3D mode,Dont quote me as I have not tried this as yet.
Overall this monitor is an affordable alternative to its Big brother the GD245HQbid but falls short only in color vibrance.and 3D fucntionality. If you require 3D compatibilty I would highly recommend the GD245HQbid not the G245HQ. I hope this review has cleared up some of the confusion surrounding this display.

Discontinued motherboard only suitable as a replacement for failed hardware
0 of 3 found this helpful This motherboard has basically had its day, its old tired and serves no purpose as a real Gaming motherboard nowadays, even when new these motherboards where known to run too hot and have many failures due to Bios corruption, out dated and now discontinued, its only purpose in life is to replace a failed motherboard. Having said all of that I can see the average user thinking its a flying machine but really is no longer a genuine Gamers Board. Resigned to running on older hardware is in short counter productive, not to mention costly.
