    I asked specifically for carefully packing the lens with several layers of bubble sheet, and several layers of carton, to avoid damage in tranzit. The lens was superficially packed, thus zoom mechanism was affected due to subtle deformation.

    My apologies for any damage incurred but I disagree that the lens was superficially packed. It was packed in the way we have shipped telescopes and lenses all over the world for decades. The lens securely packed with limited mobility in a compact package. It must have received a horrendous mishandling.

Absolutely a great picture both on Blue ray and upscaling equal only to the oppo. The upscaling is especially good which is the primary thing I was looking for since I have a very large DVD collection. The sound is excellent,very close to my oppo. The only negative thing is that the player is a little slow in loading up discs, but the the flip side is once loaded all the functions are fast and smooth. Currently selling for around 250.00 and for the price I do not believe you can buy a player that performs as well and is as well constructed. FR
