About Chanel Allure 100ml EDP
Founded in 1909, Chanel has become a household name across the globe, known as a fashion house associated with all that is glamorous and in vogue at the time. Through association with iconic figures such as Marilyn Monroe, infamous Chanel products (Such as the Chanel No. 5 perfume) have made their way onto the dressing tables of millions of women and men around the world.
In 1996, Chanel launched their new perfume Allure, and subsequently Allure Pour Homme, a slightly different smelling cologne equivalent aimed at the male market. The perfume has been described as having a sweet, vanilla smell, with elements of spice, and a musky, creamy scent once the nose has adjusted. The cologne version of the scent has been described as having a much more prominent citrus smell, with a strong peppery smell beneath, and sweet undertones such as jasmine and fruit.
Prices for the fragrance vary, but a guide price could be placed at around £100 for a 100ml (3oz) bottle. The perfume comes in a minimal, square, transparent glass bottle, with a lid that changes from bottle to bottle, depending on the time and/or place that it was manufactured.
Customers should ensure that sellers use adequate packing when sending the product, as the glass bottle is liable to break in transit should it be insufficiently padded. Customers are also advised to test for allergies or try the perfume in a shop before purchasing, especially if they have a history of bad reactions to cosmetic products and perfumes.
