About Flue Bracket
You finally get to put in your dream fireplace and you are ready to enjoy the warm glow of the flames, but before you can do that, you have to complete the installation, which requires many small pieces, like a flue bracket, that you never knew about until now. The flue is the piping that carries the soot, smoke, and gas exhaust away from the fireplace and deposits it outside. Usually, it runs up through the house and out onto the roof. Without it, your enjoyment of the fireplace would be short-lived when the room is filled with smoke and ashes. In order to install the piping, you also need a few flue brackets to attach it to the walls and roof. The devices usually have a circular clasp that goes around the pipe, one or two rods, and brackets at the ends of those rods that you screw into the home?s structure. Install a flue bracket and heat up your home this winter.
