About Ideal Isar PCB
The Ideal Isar printed circuit board is a handy spare part for the Ideal Isar boiler. If you have an Ideal Isar boiler, check which model you have eg Isar He24, Isar He30 or He35, before you buy the PCB. It is a well known fact that the printed circuit board is essential for the continued safe operation of your boiler and that many Ideal Isar boilers require spares at some point. The PCBs are available in grey, black and orange and it's a good idea to check that the PCB you buy has either been thoroughly tested before purchase, or that it is still under warranty.
What does the PCB actually do? Its function is very important. Should your boiler run into trouble, its printed circuit board will alert you to the fact, usually via a display screen. Its sensors will detect any faults in your boiler such as overheating, a fan that has stopped working or outgoing gases. It will bring them to your attention so that you can have them repaired. The PCB will also control the timing of your boiler, allowing you to pre-set the time your heating comes on, as well as the temperature. Boilers which have developed a fault should be repaired straight away. It's better to limit the damage occurring within the boiler, than have to fix a larger, more expensive problem at a later date.
The installation of your new Ideal Isar printed circuit board should be done by a trained and qualified professional. Please note that for safety reasons all wires should be disconnected before the PCB is installed.
