About Kurt Geiger
Kurt Geiger is a popular shoe brand which is named after its Austrian founder. Its first store was opened on London's Bond Street in 1963 and it has gone on to open numerous standalone stores and concessions across the UK, the Middle East, Russia and the US. The store continues to keep its design headquarters in London.
The flagship brand, Kurt Geiger of London, releases two seasonal collections each year, with prices starting at aroundÃÂÃÂÃÂã195 for a pair of women's court shoes. The firm also offers more the affordable diffusion lines KG Kurt Geiger and Miss KG, which offer mid-range pricing and a variety of shoe styles. In 1978, Kurt Geiger acquired the Carvela footwear brand, which specialises in glamorous occasion and party-wear shoes, renaming it Carvela Kurt Geiger.
Originally catering exclusively to a female clientÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂèle, the firm branched out into menswear in 1995, launching its first men's shoe collection.
Across all its brands, Kurt Geiger offers a variety of footwear for both men and women, including boots, heels, courts, sandals, wedges, platforms and trainers. In recent years the firm has begun to offer a full range of accessories including handbags, purses, jewellery, sunglasses, socks and scarves.
As well as selling its own brands, Kurt Geiger is known for its collaborations with major brands such as UGG Australia and Nine West, as well as celebrity endorsements, including a range of party shoes designed by pop star Jessica Simpsons. Celebrities such as Beyonce, Fearne Cotton and Diane Kruger have been spotted wearing Kurt Geiger shoes.
