About Marc Jacobs Watches
The Marc Jacobs brand has been in existence since the mid-1980s, but the designer?s clothing really hit the mainstream in 1994, with the launch of its first menswear collection. Since then, American designer Marc Jacobs has become one of the most prolific characters in the fashion industry, with a couture line of clothing called ?Marc Jacobs?, a more affordable ?Marc by Marc Jacobs? collection of clothing, and a long line of accessories including shoes, scarves, perfumes, handbags, purses, jewellery and watches.
Marc Jacobs? watches are made for for both men and women, in a variety of styles, sizes and materials.
Women?s bracelet watches are finished in yellow gold, rose gold and stainless steel, with quartz movements and clear, baton-marked dials. Leather-strapped watches come in neutral colours such as tan, white, beige, black and brown, as well as seasonal colours such as burgundy, bright pink, blue, green and red. Rubber watches are available in an array of bright colours, and have a chunky, functional look.
The men?s collection of watches also includes gold-plated and stainless steel styles as well as classic styles with leather straps, but chronographs feature more heavily than in the women?s collection.
Past Marc Jacobs watch collections have picked up on motifs from the designer?s fashion shows, with animal faces, MARC logos and neon detailing appearing alongside the more classic styles.
Most Marc Jacobs watches are presented in a brand-embossed stainless steel case, and most watches are water resistant to at least 30m.
