About Range Rover L322 Parts
The Range Rover L322 is the third generation of the Range Rover luxury off road car. Introduced in 2005 and manufactured until 2013, the L322 continued the Range Rover's evolution into a luxury vehicle, borrowing many of its electronics and interior parts from BMW's high-specification 5 Series executive car.
The L322 was the first model in the Range Rover stable to feature a unibody construction, helping the car to offer superior build quality, ride and handling to its predecessor, the P38A. Other significant improvements made to the L322 include support for BMW's powerful M62 V8 engine (replaced by a Ford V8 on later models following the American company's buyout of Jaguar Land Rover), independent air suspension, and full traction control to all four wheels.
As a popular yet discontinued car, the L322 has generated a large spares market. Keeping a stockpile of mechanical spares can help L322 owners to keep their vehicles on the road, particularly as spares for some earlier versions may be difficult to come by. Most spares are fully working components sourced from vehicles that are no longer on the road. In fact, dealers often break older vehicles down specifically to user their components as spares.
Buying aftermarket spares for the L322 can also enable drivers to customise their cars. The Range Rover's versatility and wide range of available parts means that there are many different versions of components such as radiator grilles and lights available for the car, with some offering improved performance and some intended purely as a fashion statement.
