A jazz clarinettist from London who died in 2013 at the age of 87, Terry-Lightfoot was a hugely influential musician. Along with Acker Bilk and Kenny Ball, Lightfoot was at the forefront of a popular jazz movement in the UK during the 1950s. Throughout his career, Lightfoot released many songs to critical acclaim. He also recorded alongside many other jazz greats â Humphrey Lyttelton is a prime example.
